My youngest brother Ken is an expert when it comes to getting what he wants from us-his older brothers. He doesn’t even need to ask. All it takes for him is a smile and a “hehe”. That’s our Ken and we don’t mind spoiling him a little because we really love our youngest gremlin.
Brothers and sisters, I believe God is the same for us. He loves us so much that He don’t mind spoiling us. He will continue showering us with blessings and abundance.
The famous verse from Philippians 4:19 states:
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Nice right? And this is perfectly true when you are sensitive to God’s presence. But did you know that the Lord loves us so much that spoiling us with the shower of blessings and abundance ain’t enough for Him?
Brothers and sisters, aside from the blessings and abundance, the Lord also wants us to receive His grace. Now what is the difference of blessing and grace? A blessing is something we get because we deserve to have it, a grace is something we don’t deserve but we can have.
Example of blessing: We deserve to eat that’s why having food to eat is a blessing. We deserve to live that’s why waking in the morning is a blessing.
Example of grace: We don’t deserve to be forgiven by God but we can if we ask for His salvation. We don’t deserve the gifts of the Holy Spirit but we can get it if we pray for it.
Grace is something we can get from God if we ask for it. We don’t deserve it but because the Lord loves us so much, He wants us to have all of it. All we have to do ask and be faithful that the Lord will give it to us.
Let us seek to grow closer to God. Let us go in a journey to be in a deep relationship with Him. Allow Him to shower us with blessings, abundance, and grace.
Let us allow God’s love to spoil us as His children!
Let us be an expert in asking and receiving the fruit of God’s love!
I pray for you all
